Q1: May I use a credit card that isn’t issued in my name?
A1: No. All credit-card payments must be made with a card registered to the PrimePoint Traders account holder. Using a card under another person’s name will result in your account being disabled.
Q2: What happens if I pay with someone else’s card?
A2: Any payment submitted with a card not in your name will trigger an automatic account suspension and refund of the transaction. This policy helps us uphold our security, fraud-prevention, and regulatory standards.
Q3: Why must my card name match my account name?
A3: Matching cardholder and account names enables us to verify your identity, protect against unauthorized transactions, and comply with financial-services regulations.
Q4: Can I simply update my billing details if I used the wrong card?
A4: No. If you pay with an ineligible card, we will refund that payment and keep your account disabled. You must re-enroll using a properly registered payment method.
Q5: What if I don’t have a personal credit card?
A5: You can apply for a card in your name through a bank, or use an alternative payment method that meets our requirements (ACH in your name, approved e-wallet, or personal crypto wallet). Contact Support for guidance.
Q6: Do ACH or bank-wire payments also need to be in my name?
A6: Yes. All bank transfers—including ACH and wire—must originate from an account held in your name. Transfers from corporate or joint accounts will be rejected and your trading access suspended.
Q7: Can I use a crypto wallet address that belongs to someone else?
A7: No. Cryptocurrency withdrawals must go to a wallet address controlled by you, matching your KYC documents. Third-party wallets are not permitted.
Q8: How long will verification delays last if my payment details don’t match?
A8: Delays vary but typically range from 2–5 business days as we process refunds and re-verify new payment details. To avoid delays, always use a payment method in your name.
Q9: Are any exceptions to this payment-method policy allowed?
A9: No. All transactions must originate from payment instruments registered to the account holder.
Q10: Does the email on my payment method need to match my trading account email?
A10: No. While the cardholder or bank-account name must match your PrimePoint Traders account, the email address on file with your bank or card issuer may differ from your trading-platform email.
